How the GSS Door Interlocking Logic Works
1. Resting State: All airlock doors remain locked (or closed) in a ready state. External LED indicators display GREEN to signal system availability.
2. Access Request: A user presents a credential (Face Scan, Fingerprint, Smart Card or PIN) or presses the entry push button at Door A.
3. Interlock Activation: Door A unlocks. Instantly, the GSS Controller overrides Door B (and any subsequent interlocked doors), locking them and changing their external LED status to RED.
4. Transit & Reset: The user enters the airlock or mantrap buffer zone and closes Door A. Once Door A is fully shut and magnetic sensors confirm closure, Door B resets to ready status, allowing authenticated passage into the cleanroom or secure zone.
