Honeywell Rack and Electrical Panel Fire Suppression Systems use environmentally friendly clean agent FK-5-1-12 HFC-1230, a colourless, odourless, non-toxic, zero-ozone-depleting fire extinguishing gas with extremely low global warming potential and rapid discharge to extinguish fires within ~10 seconds. For electrical cabinet suppression, pre engineered kits such as ECS-250 ECS-252, 2.5 lbs/1.13 kg FK-5-1-12, ECS-500/ECS-502, 5 lbs/2.27 kg FK-5-1-12 and ECS-1000/ECS-1002 with larger FK-5-1-12 fill use direct low pressure tube detection and cylinder assemblies at ~195–240 psi with 13.5–16 bar having single ECS-250/500/1000 or dual ECS-252/502/1002 valve outlets and all components compliant with NFPA 2001 guidelines for clean agent protection. Honeywell Gas Suppressioncylinders for larger systems are available in a range of capacities like H2-42-34-000, H2-42-80-000, H2-42-120-000, H2-42-140-000 with FK-5-1-12 stored under dry nitrogen at 42 bar at 610 psi to support broader piping and effective discharge in larger hazards.
